THERE WAS A COUNTRY

I am kind of skeptical about the best way to start.  There was, there is or there will be.  "There was" will surely do for now.
Ray updated his status. It said a country is gone when it's inhabitants find nothing wrong with its leaders. They stay depending on those who put them in the constant struggling state they find themselves.  The "Stockholm syndrome" as the learned ones calls it.

I once stated facts about a country.  But for now, the focus would be on the one currently being lead by SAI. He succeeded EBELE, the man from the land of the Clarks and the pepples. The man who was tagged "clueless" but was also said to mean well.  He tried his best, employed a few of the best hands but could not make a headway.  Patience too was said to be a stumbling block.

SAI came riding on the slogan "change". A term that has since lost its meaning.  He promised a total change of the status quo.  Explained that the hydra-headed monster "kwaraption" is the main cog in the wheel of progress of the country.

Let us even switch to the other actors in the polity.  Bukola is a major protagonist, he is the head of one of those periodically empty chambers. By hook or crook, he got to that position.  He is a God of kwara politics.  Of course, playing SAI would not be a problem.

He is chief in orchestrating any form of drama.  He frustrates legislative procedures at will. He has tried his best in that position too, and he, of course, has his own ambitions. last we heard he also wants to be the commander in chief too.  Who can blame him he is also within his rights.  Anything is possible with Dino by his side.

Back to SAI, he has been out of the country many times.  To seek medical attention,  femi always tells us and of course, we have no problem with that. At least yemi the brilliant lawyer is always up to the task.  Sai has even on one of his many international trips called the majority of us lazy. That has even been for a while now why am I just bringing it up?

So recently,  Theresa and Donald made snide comments about the state.  Muhammadu is not even bothered in any way. They sure don't understand what he battles here in any way.  Then we should not also forget sai has achieved so much he even deserves a second term.  He also has the right. With the cult following from daura and the jagaban of Lagos behind him, Anything is possible now.

We would continue later,  but let me just chip this in.  Sai traveled to China and borrowed enough cash to develop the country. It may be for his war chest for the coming elections, I don't know I am also wondering.  Let's continue another time, shall we?

We Made Our Bed; Now It is Time To Sleep On It

You do not even have to do anything special; anything delivering the smallest form of excitement moves us. Someone said our politicians must be thanking their stars, that they have to deal with this particular brand of humans. We Might Need To Tell Ourselves Some Truths

 I have vivid recollections of some periods in my childhood. I am sure there were moments in yours that you could also remember. I remember Uncle Ade back then in primary school. The dude must have just graduated from University then and had to make do as a primary school teacher for some kids.  I remember his face, height, and how he sometimes spoke to us in chilled tones and always added random facts about just anything to his lessons.
